Lumière Villa

This villa was acquired unfinished in 1896 by Antoine Lumière, painter and photographer from Lyon, creator of the instant photo plates that made him his fortune. His sons, Louis and Auguste, were the inventors of cinema. Antoine Lumière modified the villa design and adapted it to his taste. Neo-classical outside and eclectic inside, it gives the impression of opulence.
